[AVIATION PHOTOGRAPHS, AIRCRAFT DESIGN, CONVAIR, REPUBLIC AVIATION] On offer here is a nice ORIGINAL COLLECTION OF 51 (fifty-one) CONVAIR & REPUBLIC AVIATION PHOTOGRAPHS during development and testing. The photos measure 8.0 in x 10.0 in (some marginally smaller) and are in excellent condition. The group of photos came from a former Convair Aviation employee who retired and had collected these images during his career. Some appear to be aviation press release images and others seem more 'internal use' or DOD circle use. Most of the photos seem to date from about the late 1940's to the late 1960's (the latest being the one color 'NASA' image from 1988) although most seem to date to the early to mid 1950's. EACH OF THE PHOTOS IS NICELY ANNOTATED ON THE VERSO OF THE IMAGE . The photos feature a myriad of aircraft associated with Convair and Republic including: F-84 Thunderjet (several versions) F-102 'Delta Dagger' F-106 (XF-92) P-47 Thunderbolt XP-72 XP-69 A nice collection of vintage black & white photos of important American military aircraft.
