Lockheed F117 Nighthawk (Stealth Fighter) Gulf War 1 Digital Artwork 'First Night, First Strike' The F117s were sent in first to open the bombing campaign of Baghdad city during the Gulf War. The allied forces jammed the Iraqi radar as the Nighthawks approached the city. This print shows the moment of impact of the first 'smart' bomb striking its target. A few moments after this event the anti-aircraft guns started to light the sky. However the guns were firing randomly into the air as the Iraqi soldiers had no clue where the jets were. By the time the tracer fire was illuminating the city the little black jets were long gone. This digital artwork is printed on lustre 'real' photographic paper (not Inkjet) using professional chemical processing. Sizes: The over all print size is 12x18 inches. The image size is 16 x 9 inches (approx.). The Watermark on the sample image is for the ebay advert only and the real print does not have this on.
