Four fine and rare original photographs of Handley Page Heralds in service with number of the world’s airlines: G-ASBP, the 7 th Herald built at Radlett which first flew in September 1962. Ordered by BUA as their first VIP aircraft, it was flown to Southend in October 1962 as the cabin work had been contracted to Aviation Traders Ltd (ATEL). Once completed, the aircraft ferried back to Radlett from Southend in November 1962 with formal handover made to BUA on 26th November 1962. G-BDZV , which first flew as PP-SDL of SADIA in February 1966, soon re-registered PP-SDL when she joined Transbrasil; she returned to the UK with British Air Ferries in 1977, also operating with British Island Airways before being leased to the Arabian Gulf Oil Company in May 1981. At the end of the year, she became F-BVFP with Trans Azur Aviation Sep 1981, ending up as TG-AZE with Aerovías, when she was withdrawn from flying and put into long-term storage at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala G-GNSY of Channel Express – she first flew in 1968 as 4X-AHN of Arkia - Israeli Airlines before returning to the UK as G-BFRK with Express Air Services, In 1985 she became I-ZERD with Aligiulia, returning to Channel Express in Jun 1987. In 1996 she was withdrawn from flying and put into storage at Hurn. RP-C866 of Air Manila who took delivery of her in March 1966; in April 1981 she was withdrawn from flying and put into storage at Manila Airport. All 4 photographs are approximately 5½ x 3½ inches (135 x 85 mm), and are in Fine condition, with nothing on the reverse.
