KNIGHTS CHARGE by Simon Atack A powerful tribute to the F-100 Pilots who flew in Vietnam Flying ground attacks, F-100D Super Sabres of the 416th Squadron of the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing – the “Silver Knights” based at Da Nang – execute an attack on communist NVA guerrilla forces in the Bac Lieu region of South Vietnam. In this powerful and dramatic recreation of an event that took place on May 14th, 1965, Simon Atack’s spectacular painting brings to life a fantastic Vietnam era fighter Jet. THE SIGNATURES - THE VETERANS EDITION Only 200 copies were produced worldwide and t he print is individually numbered and personally signed by the artist Simon Atack, along with three highly prominent Vietnam F-100 Pilots, including the legendary 'Bud; Day: Brigadier General GEORGE E. “BUD” DAY Medal Of Honor - was one of America's most decorated soldiers with almost 70 awards. Spent 5 years as a POW in North Vietnam, escaped once but was recaptured Captain VINCE SCOTT - flew 82 combat missions in the F-100D Colonel JACK HARTMANN - flew 210 combat missions in the F-100 Please note: The prints in my store are hand-signed by the veterans involved in the painting so the signatures are original autographs and not reproductions.
