Here’s a real blast from the past - a fine and rare original photograph of N1023V, a 1948 Boeing 377 Stratocruiser of Pan American World Airways at London Airport in June 1957; she was written off in June 1958 when she crashed on landing at Manila International Airport during a scheduled flight from San Francisco to Singapore: as the aircraft touched down, the undercarriage collapsed, and she skidded , coming to rest way past the runway threshold. The photograph is approximately 5½ x 3½ inches (135 x 85 mm), and is in Fine condition, with brief details on the reverse.
